Gene Santini Jr. has been in the music scene since a little kid. My Father Gene Santini was a professional bass player and played with many artists such as, Roberta Flack, Pointer Sisters and Boz Scaggs to name a few. I started playing at age 4. At the age of 12, I played on a nationally televised Hertz commercial jingle in the late 70’s. As a youngster sat beside some great players, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Buddy Williams and Alan Schwartzberg. All county band on Drum set age 13. Studied at Berklee College of Music. 

                     I have been a member of the Whatup Funk Band here in Connecticut and subbing with many others for the last 15 years.   I am available for Gigs if needed.  

                   My love for drums and getting them to sound their best has led me to start drumgenie.com. I believe with my experience of 35 years as drummer and working with other artists, drumgenie.com will be the go to drum rental company for years to come.
